Niger foods to establish 30,000-hectare farm Estate in Ishau District

A lease agreement for the development of a 30,000-hectare farm estate in Ishau District has been signed by Niger Foods. In the presence of Alh (Dr.) Umar Faruq Bahago, the Emir of Minna, the agreement was signed at the Emir Palace.

The project is consistent with Farmer Governor Umaru Bago's pledge to create farm estates in each of Niger State's 25 local government districts. While Mr. James Kwasau, the District Head of Ishau, signed on behalf of Ishau District, the Chairman of Niger Foods signed on behalf of the company.

The Emir of Minna expressed his support for Niger Foods' goal and commended the Farmer Governor's agricultural transformation plan.

Niger Foods' chairman praised the choice as a significant turning point in the company's history and revealed more planned initiatives in the Minna Emirate.
